TASK 4 - LUIS JAVIER ESTEPA MESA
IMPACT OF LANGUAGE SKILLS ON EDUCATION
To
learn a new language it is necessary to have the four linguistic abilities that
are, listening, speaking, reading and writing, since with the combination of
these it is possible to understand and know a new language. Many students have
problems studying English because they do not know very well how to use these
skills, which makes it difficult for them to learn as required. If you are not
able to speak, listen, read and write while learning a new language, you will
not be able to understand and manage it. Many English lessons are planned as
activities but their ultimate goal is not based on polishing these skills in
students, which in the short term will lead to an incomplete management of
English learning.
Linguistic
skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are decisive in the
development and learning of the English language in students. To understand a
new language it is necessary to develop, sharpen and emphasize these four
skills. It is notorious that some students find it more difficult than others,
but generally speaking and listening are the most difficult. Acquiring the four
linguistic skills is essential for learning the English language in students,
since it must be a comprehensive learning that provides complete mastery
throughout the instruction, and through which these skills are improved and
polished. Thus, by strengthening these, solid foundations will be provided to
acquire a new language.
